The Jakarta Capital Special Region of is an area in the Java Island that has highest level vulnerability to land subsidence disasters. Land caused by several factors such as excessive use groundwater and natural compression soil conditions. This study used a review analysis method based on literature mitigation disasters city. planning will refer government regulations disaster management City spatial planning. Disaster necessary anticipate or reduce risk. series efforts risk through physical development combined with awareness capacity building dealing threats. Education cannot be separated from active role community local government. High-densely populated areas lead more resulted intensive Jakarta’s urban area. safe zone mapping prominent control government’s lessen impacts are educating population areas.
